About the game

Earlier this year I thought of making an Oddworld fan game. I am a 2d game developer and is fascinated by Oddworld. The story follows Fred an adorable, but ugly fuzzle. I'm currently working on the script.

Also! Can you please help me?? I am needing some help with somthing on my one! Could you tell me how to make it, so the character can walk?? I know how to get him moving, and I know how to change the sprite ONCE but he just looks like he is pushing his leg out!! Lol thanks

Well, I need more detail, like what program you're using, The Games Factory, Multimedia Fusion, Flash, Game Maker ect. scratch

It's still got bugs... I'll try and fix it, BTW it's a tiny demo, just Fred and the level, no sligs, or fellow Fuzzles. Sad

There hasn't been an update for a while... What happened to Oddman's demo?

What will the gameplay be like? Mario, Oddworld, Sidescroller or something else?

It's an Oddworld game, what do you think? An Oddworld game played like Mario wouldn't be an Oddworld game, it would be a Mario game with Oddworld environments and characters.

... Not the game itself but what will the gameplay be like. Each of these examples each have their own things. Mario style gameplay leads to something more actiony while Oddworlds syle gameplay becomes something more puzzley. Sidecrolling leads to something similar to Contra. Keep going ot he side and shooting or biting as you go. Obviously it won't be like the first two Odwrold games because Fred is a fuzzle. Therefore pulling levers, going down lifts, and jumping over very big gaps will either be unrealistic or just plain impossible. So until we get a demo then we have no way of knowing what kind of gameplay will be included.
